Epec is looking for a manager to Electronics Engineering team to lead and manage a team of electronics engineers and architects. In this position Seinäjoki is a preferable location but you can be placed in any of Epec offices in Finland. Frequent presence in Seinäjoki is expected anyway, flexible remote work is possible at Epec.

What kind of tasks?

As a superior of the team, you would be responsible for the team’s resources, competence development, team spirit and well-being. In this position you would provide technical direction to team members to ensure quality and accuracy of engineering work and effective completion of product development projects. Development of processes, tools and methods is also part of your daily tasks, like conducting technical review of project deliverables. You should also maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders customers, suppliers and team members. You will be reporting to the Business Line director and be a member of the business line management team.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have several years of experience in electronics engineering and managing a team of engineers. To be successful in this position, you should have Master's or Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or related field. You should also have experience in developing embedded electronic products from concept to market, preferably from automotive or off-highway industry. The ability to communicate in both English and in Finnish is essential for this position. Experience of developing electronics based on ASPICE, IEC 61508, EN ISO 13849 or ISO 26262 is an advantage. You should also have knowledge of emerging trends in electronics engineering and technology.
